Hello, I am Jacob.

I graduated from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After graduation I worked at the front desk of a hotel where my hard work ethic was quickly noticed. I was promoted to a Sales Manager and then Director of Sales. While working as a Director of Sales, the group sales revenue increased by 20% over a 3 year span from 1.51 million to 1.83 million while maintaining an occupancy of 92%.

After reflecting on what I wanted for myself in the future I decided to go back to school for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. During my senior year I was accepted in the Tech Talent Pipeline at the College of Staten Island. The first part of the program was to complete an intensive full stack web development bootcamp. I went from barely understanding vanilla JavaScript to creating a Full Stack React web application with my own custom API.

Two of my current projects are developing a React web application about recipes from a classically trained chef in NYC and developing a symmetric searchable encryption scheme. See below for links to the projects!
